Le Caid Hotel (Bou Saada)
The hotel is established at the entrance of the
city of Bou-Saâda,
coming from Biskra. It is very close to a
huge palm-grove. It is adjoining the Training Centre of Hotel
business and Tourism. It was completely renovated in 1998. It is a
Saharan style modern establishment. It has very nice accommodation
structures. It is livened up with a swimming-pool located in the middle
of a green garden which gives it a particular cachet. Named "
the city of happiness ", Bou-Saâda
where lived and is buried the famous painter Etienne DINET, whose
paintings adorn his residence transformed into a museum, is the first
Saharan oasis and at the same time a place of predilection for
tourism. With its old streets, its old ksar,
its artisans, Bou-Saâda already presents
the charm of a Saharan city. It is 240 km away from Algiers.
Moreover, the region has significant and various tourist potentialities
which make it capable whether in circuits as well as in short and
long stays.
