Louss Hotel (El Oued)
The hotel is established in the urban fabric of the
city of El Oued, county town of the
wilaya. It owes its name to the sand rose
("Louss" in Arabic) which
proliferates in the region. It was operational 1997. This
establishment was realized as part of the strengthening of
accommodation structures which, in the seventies and eighties, were
represented by the only classified hotel, that
is LE SOUF. This latter not being able to meet, in itself, the
tourist needs, in full peak. The hotel, with the original
architectural form (that of the scorpion), has all facilities for
achieving nice stays. Thus, it has a swimming-pool. The vocation of
urban hotel business is predominating. Moreover, the region of Souf has several tourist charms (the endless sand
dunes, the numerous oases, the daily market, the ksar
of Kouinine at 10 km, the
enchanting sunset…). Besides, it has an airport (20 minutes
from the city of El Oued) with shuttle
services with the capital.
