Marhaba Hotel (Laghouat) The present El Marhaba hotel is the former Transatlantic Hotel, built in 1939, the architecture of which takes the form of a boat aground in the desert. In 1969, the architect Fernand Pouillon added to it a wing to increase its accommodation capacities. Presently, the hotel has 50 ample and air-conditioned rooms which open onto the terrace-swimming pool. They are all equipped with bathroom, refrigerator and satellite television. It also offers leisure areas, notably: its culinary restaurant, its cocktail lounge, its swimming-pool and its terrace-garden.
